The interface features a large 10-inch touchscreen monitor that allows quick navigation through highly user-friendly software. Pitches can be selected through standard default pitch options, favorite pitches, favorite sequences, or created manually using manual mode.

Standard (Pre-Set/Default) Pitches
For quick and simple operation, eight standard pitches are instantly available: fastball, change-up, heater, riser, drop, and right and left screwballs. The speed and spin of any standard pitch can be customized to meet the needs of specific drills or the skill level of the hitter. Users can also adjust the pitch location, spin, or speed within the strike zone or an expanded strike zone for two-strike counts. Users may rely on these preset pitches or switch directly to manual mode, where pitch type, speed, and location can be selected and repeated or changed as desired.

Manual Mode
In manual mode, the machine operates similarly to a basic Hack Attack, giving the user direct control over each motor and actuator. This allows full control of pitch spin, speed, and location. Individual pitches can be saved to favorites or added to sequences for quick access later. Between pitches, location adjustments can be made instantly using sliders or plus/minus controls.

Favorite Pitches
Once a pitch has been fine-tuned, it can be saved to the favorites list from either the manual mode or standard pitch screens. Up to 50 pitches can be stored, allowing immediate access to a wide variety of pitch options in any order. From the favorites screen, users can also adjust the spin, speed, and location of a saved pitch and store the updated version again.

Favorite Sequences
Sequences of pitches—up to 50 per sequence—can be saved and quickly accessed from the favorite sequences screen. This allows coaches to challenge hitters’ mechanics or replicate the style of a specific pitcher. Each sequence offers four run types:

• Run Sequence: pitches are thrown once in the order saved.

• Repeat: the sequence continuously repeats in order.

• Shuffle: pitches are delivered in random order.

• Manual: selected pitches are run continuously based on user selection.

If a pitch within a sequence needs adjustment, users can modify its speed, spin, or location and resave it within the sequence using the “modify” option. Pitches in a sequence can also be renamed, reordered, or deleted.

Utilities and Settings
The settings menu allows users to select the standard pitch skill level (adult or youth). Other adjustments include switching between MPH and KPH, setting system suspend timeout, and configuring password protection for secure operation. The utilities section displays the current software version and other diagnostic information. Software updates can be downloaded directly from the machine through the settings menu. Utilities also include a lifetime pitch counter that records the total number of pitches thrown by the machine.

Elite eHack Machine Design
The Elite eHack Attack features a distinctive three-wheel design that allows hitters to clearly see the ball throughout the entire feeding motion, acceleration, and release, closely simulating a live pitcher. This design helps hitters recognize stride timing and release angle, creating a more realistic sense of timing and pitch location. The machine can be moved on or off the field by tilting it, removing the legs, and rolling it using two heavy-duty transport wheels rather than the throwing wheels.
