The Rae Crowther Shockwave 10FT Leg Charger is a football-specific incline machine built to train leg drive, footwork, and hand placement under real resistance. Players drive a pad up a set of rails set on a 10-degree incline, working through five to nine steps before reaching the top, a drill format that isolates and strengthens the exact movement pattern used to finish blocks and tackles.

The chassis rises roughly 16 inches from the bottom of the rails to the top and weighs approximately 390 pounds on its own, with room to load over 400 additional pounds of plate weight so resistance can be tuned to any level of play. Because the machine works the same muscle groups and technique points year-round, coaches use it as both an in-season teaching tool and an off-season conditioning tool.

The 10FT Leg Charger is available with a choice of four pad styles. The H1 pad mounts a real pair of shoulder pads and a jersey to a foam torso for the most game-realistic hand-placement training available, making it a strong choice for offensive and defensive line work. The S1 pad is shaped like a player's body, bent at the ankles, knees, and waist, for tackling technique. The S2 pad adds a rubber chest plate and stubby foam arms to the S1 shape for an extra layer of difficulty in tackling and blocking drills. The S3 pad uses narrow hand pockets to sharpen punch accuracy and power; note that the S3 pad is not intended for tackling reps.

If a covered defect occurs, Rae Crowther Co.'s sole obligation is to repair or replace the defective part; a Return Authorization Number must be obtained before returning any product for a warranty claim. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, negligence, accident, improper assembly, ordinary wear and tear, vandalism, or unauthorized repairs and alterations.

What is the difference between the 5-foot and 10-foot shockwave?
The 5-foot model allows about three to five steps of drive, while the 10-foot model allows about five to nine steps for a longer training run.
