The Rae Crowther X-RAE is a purpose-built angle blocking sled unlike anything else on the market. Rather than driving straight ahead, players push the X-RAE at an angle, which makes it a natural fit for the angle- and zone-blocking concepts common in modern offensive schemes, and gives coaches a way to train reach blocks, trail blocks, and down blocks that a standard sled cannot replicate.

The sled's signature feature is its Wing, which can be flipped from the right side to the left with a single pull-pin so the sled can be driven in either direction. The Wing is painted in three colors, giving players a visual target to drive toward, and pairing the sled with a similarly colored cone is a simple way to build a teaching progression. A weight horn on the Wing lets coaches add plates to tune the sled to their team's level of play, and every rep gives the player immediate, physical feedback on whether they held their angle and line of force.

The X-RAE uses the H1 pad, real shoulder pads and a jersey mounted to a foam torso for game-realistic hand placement, along with Rae Crowther's HPST, or Hip Power Spring Tech, resistance system, which engages as the pad is leveraged. The pad lean adjusts tool-free between 0, 12, and 20 degrees, and the sled is built to run on turf or grass.

If a covered defect occurs, Rae Crowther Co.'s sole obligation is to repair or replace the defective part; a Return Authorization Number must be obtained before returning any product for a warranty claim. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, negligence, accident, improper assembly, ordinary wear and tear, vandalism, or unauthorized repairs and alterations.
