The machine is designed with simplicity in mind, allowing operators to easily throw high-speed fastballs as well as right- and left-handed breaking pitches such as curveballs, sliders, and split-finger pitches by adjusting the control dials.

Its exclusive three-wheel system changes the break and trajectory of pitches simply by adjusting wheel speeds. In comparison, two-wheel pitching machines often require time-consuming manual adjustments to the throwing head when switching between pitch types or changing from right- to left-handed breaking pitches.

The Junior Hack Attack also includes an elevation adjustment handle that allows the operator to raise or lower the pitch height. With a simple adjustment, the pitch can be moved up or down within the strike zone between throws. Many two-wheel machines require unlocking and manually repositioning the entire throwing head to make similar changes, which can be slower and more cumbersome.

Additionally, the machine features an inside/outside adjustment that allows for precise, immediate changes to pitch location at the plate. This function enables the operator to center the first pitch without repositioning the entire machine and to move the pitch slightly inside or outside with a simple turn of a handle. When used together with the elevation control, pitches can be quickly placed anywhere within the strike zone between deliveries.

The throwing head can pivot instantly in any direction, making the machine suitable for a wide variety of fielding drills. It can produce deep fly balls, slicing line drives, catcher’s pop-ups with reverse spin, high infield pop-ups, and ground balls.

Designed for efficiency, the Junior Hack Attack requires minimal adjustments and has a very short recovery time between pitches. This allows coaches to deliver more strikes during practice and maximize training time.

Transporting the machine is quick and simple. The unit can be tilted, the legs removed from their sockets, and the machine rolled easily on two heavy-duty transport wheels separate from the throwing wheels.

Front wheel guards prevent the throwing wheels from contacting the ground during transport, helping keep dirt and gravel from accumulating on the wheels and affecting accuracy or causing wear.

The Junior Hack Attack is compatible with regulation leather baseballs, dimpled practice balls, Wiffle® balls, and other softer practice balls. Synthetic leather balls are not recommended because they wear quickly and may leave residue on the wheels.
