Bison 48" x 72" Unbreakable Tall Glass Backboard

An integrated support framework absorbs more than 98% of the force generated by rim contact, preventing stress from transferring to the glass. Because the goal is mounted independently from the glass, even aggressive hanging or repeated impact will not compromise the backboard. This design minimizes the risk of injury and eliminates concerns about glass breakage.

Each “XL” unbreakable backboard is built with a polished aluminum extrusion frame, a glass-cushioning gasket, and a high-strength steel support structure. It features ½" tempered glass with a fire-impregnated bright white border and shooter’s square, and is backed by an unconditional lifetime warranty. All Bison competition glass backboards are also pre-drilled to allow fast installation of original DuraSkin backboard padding.

The 42" × 72" short-board version in the “XL” series uses the industry-standard 35½" × 62" mounting configuration and a 5" × 4" goal hole pattern, making retrofit upgrades to virtually any manufacturer’s short-board wall- or ceiling-mounted support structure straightforward and reliable.
