The Climb Sled was built for a modern problem in the trenches: defensive linemen who play low and long, leaving almost no surface for an offensive lineman to strike. Instead of relying on a big, flat pad to lean into, this sled forces players to learn the "Climb" technique — striking up and under the shoulder plate while searching for a handle on the defender's chest.

The S2 pad has a breastplate built into its surface with enough give that an offensive player can actually grab a handle, and short, stubby arms mirror how difficult hand placement really is in a live, combative rep. The S-Pad angle is adjustable, so coaches can dial in more or less of an angle depending on the drill, and all metal components are powder coated black for durability.

Available Models

  • High School/Pro Climb Sled with S2 Pad — colors: Black, Navy, Royal, Red, Green, Orange (Model# CS-HS)
  • Pro/Collegiate Climb Sled with S2 Pad — 3 in. taller and 100 lbs. heavier than the HS model (Model# CS-PRO)

  • Models: CS-HS (High School) and CS-PRO (Pro/Collegiate, 3 in. taller and 100 lbs. heavier)
  • Pad: S2 with built-in breastplate and stubby arms
  • Adjustable S-Pad angle
  • Finish: powder coated black
  • Colors: Black, Navy, Royal, Red, Green, Orange

  • Teaches the modern Climb technique against low, long-armed defenders
  • Breastplate with give lets offensive players gain a real handle
  • Stubby arms mirror the difficulty of live hand placement
  • Adjustable pad angle for more or less difficulty

Choose between the High School model (CS-HS) or the taller, heavier Pro/Collegiate model (CS-PRO) depending on the level of play.

What's the difference between the high school and pro models?
The pro/collegiate climb sled (cs-pro) is 3 inches taller and about 100 lbs. heavier than the high school model (cs-hs).
What is the climb technique this sled teaches?
It trains offensive linemen to strike up and under a low defender's shoulder plate with an uppercut-style strike while finding a handle on the chest, instead of relying on a flat pad to lean into.
