Bison T-REX International Manual Portable Basketball System - Glass Backboard, 10′8″ Safe Play Area, Indoor

Bison’s T-Rex portable basketball systems are designed to support every level of competition, from elite FIBA-sanctioned international play to intramural and recreational use. Each unit incorporates advanced extension-spring counterbalance technology for quick, safe, and efficient height adjustment and storage. Pivot points operate smoothly on maintenance-free, self-lubricating bearings with chrome-plated steel axles. Ballast weight is concealed within a covered containment compartment, and narrow-profile uprights help preserve clear sightlines for spectators and media behind the base. Floor-friendly 8" x 2" casters—configured by model—allow for easy movement, and all T-Rex units in transport position fit through doorways at least 84" high and 78" wide.

For programs seeking additional player protection, the T-Rex International provides an extra 32" of safe play area. With the physical demands of modern play, this model is recommended when court space and budget permit. Available clearance between the end line and adjacent bleachers or walls will determine whether its 10' 8" safe play area is appropriate. To support the extended reach, the system includes approximately 400 pounds of added rear ballast along with additional springs for balance. The International model features the same premium glass backboard, 180° breakaway rim, backboard/beam/base padding, automatic base control system, and other high-end components found on the T-Rex Americana. Steel base components are finished in bright white powder coating as standard, with additional color options available at extra cost.

Bison’s T-Rex International is approved for FIBA Level 1 and Level 2 competition. When a FIBA Equipment Certificate of Approval is required, the optional BAFIBA designation can be added to the order at no additional charge. FIBA-approved wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted backstop systems are also available.
