Built to Your Room

Custom Golf Simulator Enclosures & Impact Screens

The thing that sinks a simulator build is almost always ceiling height. Put your room dimensions in below and see the bay drawn to scale before you spend anything, then send us the measurements and we will spec the enclosure, screen and accessories around it.

Will it fit your room?

Enter your room dimensions. The drawing updates to scale and the checks below tell you where the space is comfortable and where it is tight.

Enclosure kits that fit this room

Fills the quote form below with your room measurements.

This checks whether it physically fits. The drawing is to scale and the fit check is geometry — room against enclosure, and ceiling against a full swing. It does not tell you which launch monitor to buy or how any software performs. Send us the measurements and we will spec the bay around what you are actually going to put in it.

    STEP 1

    Send your room dimensions

Width, depth and ceiling height, plus anything in the way. Photos of the space from the door help a lot.

    STEP 2

    We spec the bay

We size the enclosure and screen to your room, work out the projector throw from your depth, and quote it with freight to your ZIP code.

    STEP 3

    Approve and we build it

Approve the quote, pay by card or send a PO, and the enclosure and screen go into production.

    Tell us about your room

Used the planner above? Hit “Use these dimensions” and the first few fields fill themselves. Anything you are unsure of, pick “Not sure” and we will work it out with you.

    Your specifications

    Where to send the quote

No obligation. Freight and installation are always quoted separately and approved before you are charged.

    How long it takes

    Standard kit sizes

The enclosure sizes checked by the planner above are catalog items and ship in the normal way. If one of them fits your room, that is the faster and cheaper route.

    Built to your room

Around 30 days from the point you approve the quote for anything made outside the standard sizes. We will give you the real date before you commit.

    Freight and installation

Quoted separately from the equipment. Most home enclosures are owner-assembled and the kits are designed for that. Commercial and multi-bay builds are a different job, and we will connect you with an installer where the manufacturer does not do it directly.

    What the space actually needs

Three measurements decide whether a simulator works in a room, and they matter in this order. Ceiling height is the one people get wrong.

    DimensionWorkableComfortableWhy it matters
Ceiling heightAround 9 ft10 ft or moreThe constraint that ends most builds. Below roughly 8 ft 6 in most adults catch the ceiling with a driver, and no amount of clever layout fixes that.
WidthAround 10 ft12 ft or moreSets how much room you have either side of the mat. Hitting both right and left handed without moving anything needs noticeably more.
DepthAround 12 ft15 ft or moreCovers the screen standoff, the hitting position and space behind the ball for a launch monitor.

Taller players need more ceiling than the figures above. If anyone using the bay is over about six foot two, plan for the comfortable column rather than the workable one.

    Choosing the impact screen

The screen does two jobs at once — it stops the ball and it is the surface you project onto. The grades differ in how well they do the second one.

Standard. The entry point. Takes the ball and gives a perfectly usable picture. Where most home builds start.

Preferred. A step up in image quality and material weight for people who spend real time in the bay.

Premium. The sharpest image in the range. Worth it in a dedicated room where the picture is a large part of the experience, and the usual choice for commercial bays.

High Contrast Gray. Built for rooms you cannot fully darken. The grey surface holds contrast with ambient light in the space, which is the common problem in a garage with windows or a studio with overhead lighting.

Not sure? Tell us what the room is and whether you can control the light in it, and we will tell you which one is the sensible buy.

What makes up a complete bay

People usually come to us for the enclosure and then discover there are five more things in the build. Here is the whole list so nothing surprises you later.

    • Enclosure frame and ball-catching surround — the structure the whole bay is built on
    • Impact screen — sized to the enclosure opening
    • Hitting mat — where you actually stand and strike from
    • Projector and mount — the throw distance depends on your room depth, which is why we ask for it
    • Launch monitor — yours or one we quote alongside, and its placement changes the layout
    • Accessories — safety baffle, back cover, side net extensions and foam padding, depending on the room

Tell us which parts you already have. There is no sense quoting you a mat you bought last month.

    Common questions

My ceiling is low. Is there any point?

Possibly. Below about 8 ft 6 in a full driver swing becomes uncomfortable for most adults, but plenty of people build bays for iron play, short game and putting in rooms like that. Tell us the height and who is using it and we will be straight with you about what the space will and will not do.

Can you build an enclosure that is not a standard size?

Yes. The planner above checks your room against the standard kit sizes, but enclosures and screens can be made to dimensions outside that range. If nothing standard fits, send us the measurements and we will tell you what is possible in the space.

Can both right and left handed players use it?

Yes, with enough width. A setup that works for both without moving the mat generally needs around twelve feet, and more is better. Below that you can still play both ways by shifting the mat between sessions.

    How long does it take?

Standard kit sizes are listed on the site and ship in the normal way. Anything built to your dimensions runs around 30 days from the point you approve the quote. We will give you the real date before you commit.

Do I need a specific launch monitor?

The enclosure does not care which one you use, but where it sits does change the layout — some sit behind the ball and need depth, others mount overhead and need ceiling. Tell us which one you have or are planning to buy and we will spec the bay around it.

    Is there a minimum order?

No minimum. A replacement screen on its own is a quote we will write.

    Do you handle installation?

Most home enclosures are assembled by the owner and the kits are built for that. For commercial bays and multi-bay facilities, some manufacturers install directly, and where they do not we connect you with an installer. Installation is quoted separately from the equipment, the same as freight.

Do you accept school purchase orders?

Yes. Tell us on the form that you will be paying by PO and we will build the quote so your business office can process it. School and university golf programs buy these regularly.

Already know the kit you want? Standard enclosure sizes and screens are on the site ready to order.
