The #24 Rookie Batting Cage with Cable Frame is Cimarron's entry-level, all-in-one net-and-frame package built for players just starting out. Instead of steel corner elbows, the Rookie frame uses three horizontal cables strung between 1 1/2" galvanized steel arches, giving the whole structure a lower parts count and a quicker setup and teardown.

Because the net hangs from cables rather than a rigid perimeter, it can flex slightly in wind and rebound less harshly than a fixed frame, which helps extend its working life outdoors. The included #24 twisted poly netting is hung "on the square" for a tidy, finished appearance, and long ground stakes with tie-down ropes anchor the whole cage in place without concrete.

Sized for backyards and casual practice spaces, the Rookie cable frame comes in a range of length and width combinations so first-time buyers can match the cage to whatever yard or side lot they have available.

Key Features

  • Frame built from 1 1/2" galvanized steel tubing for wind and weather resistance
  • Net suspends from three cables spanning the arches for a clean, square hang
  • 4' door for easy entry and exit
  • Long ground stakes and tie-down ropes included for anchoring
  • No concrete required - sets up directly on the ground
  • Available in multiple length/width/height sizes for backyard use

  • Frame base width: 15.5 feet
  • Frame material: 1 1/2 inch galvanized steel tubing
  • Available sizes: 30x12x10, 40x12x10, 50x12x10, 60x12x10, 55x12x12, and 70x12x12 (feet)

  • 4 foot door for easy entry and exit
  • Long ground stakes and tie-down ropes included
  • Galvanized steel resists rust and weather
  • Net hung on the square for a clean, finished look
