The First Team FoldaMount68 Side-Folding Wall Mount Basketball System is designed to simplify the installation and operation of premium folding basketball systems for multi-purpose athletic facilities. Ideal for schools, gyms, recreation centers, and sports complexes that require flexible use of court space, this system allows basketball goals to fold neatly against the wall when not in use. Its adaptable design helps maximize available floor space for volleyball, events, and other activities while maintaining dependable basketball performance.

The FoldaMount68 features a side-folding design that swings left or right for compact wall storage without requiring ladders or special tools. During installation, the system offers adjustable wall-to-backboard extension distances ranging from 6 to 8 feet, allowing installers to fine-tune placement and accurately align the unit with court markings. This flexibility helps reduce measurement errors and avoid costly installation modifications or rework.

Operation is designed to be simple and efficient. Using the included adjustment crank, users can loosen the adjustment mechanism, pull the unit toward the wall for storage, and secure it in place when not in use. Reversing the process quickly returns the system to playing position. First Team offers multiple package configurations to suit different facility requirements, and optional bolt-on padding is available on select models for added player protection. Every FoldaMount68 package is backed by First Team’s Lifetime Limited Warranty for long-term confidence and performance.

The warranty terminates automatically upon any resale or transfer of the product.

Limited Warranty:

Covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.

Superior Warranty:

Covers any damage or failure caused by any type of basketball activity or related contact with the unit. This includes deliberate hanging on the rim. The Superior Warranty does not cover vandalism.

Any normal wear and tear caused by weathering or UV exposure is not covered under any First Team warranty. All painted items carry a one year limited warranty on coating.

Some basketball products carry a warranty valid only when used in a residential setting. "Residential" is defined as a "single family dwelling." Under no circumstances shall any basketball product carrying a strictly residential warranty be covered for non-residential use.

Due to the abusive nature of amusement facilities, unless specifically agreed to in writing, First Team products carry no warranty except for obvious manufacturing defects when used in an entertainment facility where players pay a fee to use the equipment.

What is the difference between victory, triumph, and tradition backboard packages?
The tradition package uses a traditional 48-inch tall by 72-inch wide backboard design. both victory and triumph packages feature a modern 42-inch tall by 72-inch backboard. the triumph model includes reinforced construction designed to handle collegiate-level play, including dunking and hanging on the rim.
What is the maximum wall mount extension distance available?
The furthest wall extension available is 12 feet using the supermount82 or foldamount82 systems. while the telescoping feature does not extend to 13 feet, adding the optional height adjuster can increase the maximum reach to approximately 12 feet 3 inches.
Do you sell just the wall mount for 72" backboards?
Yes, several standalone wall mount options are available for 72-inch backboards. the wallmonster is a recommended starting point, and both supermount and foldamount systems are also designed to support 72-inch backboards.
Can wall mounted units be attached to columns instead of walls?
Wall-mounted systems are not specifically designed for column installations. however, the adjustable arm system, backboard, and rim from the champ or vector in-ground systems can be adapted for column mounting if the structure is properly drilled and bolted. this setup allows height adjustment but does not provide retractable functionality.
Can wall mounted basketball goals be adjustable?
Yes, most wall-mounted basketball systems can be configured with adjustable height functionality. standard adjustment ranges typically span from 8 to 10 feet, while the wallmonster offers the broadest adjustment range available.
Is the supreme suitable for heavy play/competition?
Yes, the supreme features durable 1/2-inch acrylic construction suitable for demanding use. however, tempered glass remains the preferred choice for competitive environments and league-style basketball play.
What is the difference between victory and triumph packages?
The victory package is designed for recreational play and casual shooting sessions, while the triumph package is intended for more demanding use and performs better in competitive and heavy-play environments.
When the foldamount is folded, how far is it from the wall?
When fully folded, the foldamount sits approximately 13.5 inches from the wall to the front edge of the backboard.
