The Portolite Signature Spiked Practice Mat gives youth softball pitchers (roughly age 12 and under) a stable, consistent surface to build mechanics on before they ever step onto a mound during a game. SpikeTek anchoring technology embeds roughly 1,200 spikes into the underside of the mat, gripping synthetic turf so the mat stays exactly where a coach sets it, pitch after pitch.

Built at 11 feet long by 3 feet wide, the mat is sized to accommodate a young pitcher's full stride while remaining light enough (about 40 pounds) for one person to roll up and move between practice stations. The pitching rubber is replaceable, so programs can keep using the same mat season after season rather than replacing the whole unit when the rubber wears.

This mat is designed specifically for synthetic turf and is not intended for use on dirt mounds - pair it with a hard, level turf surface for the most consistent results.
