Bison offers a T-Rex portable basketball system engineered for every level of competition—from elite, FIBA-sanctioned international events to intramural and recreational play. Each T-Rex portable incorporates industry-leading extension-spring counterbalance technology, allowing the unit to be raised, lowered, and stored quickly and safely. All pivot points rotate smoothly on zero-maintenance, self-lubricating bearings with chrome-plated steel axles. The ballast is concealed within a covered containment compartment for a clean appearance. Slim-profile uprights minimize sightline obstruction for spectators and media positioned behind the base. Floor-friendly 8" x 2" casters—configured by model—ensure smooth, dependable mobility. In transport mode, every T-Rex unit fits through doorways at least 84" high and 78" wide.

Programs seeking the 8' safe play area featured on the T-Rex Americana, but operating with tighter budgets and limited space behind the end line, will find the T-Rex Competition an ideal solution. Competition complies with all NFHS equipment standards and shares many structural features with the Americana and International models. It utilizes the same extension-spring counterbalance system for effortless transition between play and storage. Despite its value-focused design, the Competition model includes the same competition-grade backboard, direct-beam-mounted Baseline™ 180° breakaway rim, and DuraSkin® backboard padding found on higher-tier systems—delivering consistent rigidity, durability, and player safety year after year.

The Competition system is well suited for smaller programs, high schools, recreation centers, and auxiliary courts that require a full 8' safe play area at a more economical price point.

Bison’s Competition™ and Side Court™ T-Rex portables now feature enhanced ergonomics. Transitioning to playing position or preparing for transport requires only a simple hand-lever action. A removable handle deploys the transport wheels and retracts them for game play, allowing the system to rest securely on its front, floor-friendly support feet during use.
