Bison T-Rex Sport Portable Basketball System

T-Rex Sport delivers a balanced combination of spring-assisted counterbalance technology and convenient rim height adjustment from the regulation 10' down to 7½'. Unlike many spring-assisted portables that move the backboard closer to the base as the rim is lowered, T-Rex Sport allows height changes while the base remains in the play position, maintaining a usable safe play area for younger athletes practicing at reduced rim heights.

The base is fully padded with 2" thick polyurethane foam on the sides and front up to 72" high, with padding covered in durable 16-ounce black leather-grain vinyl. Safe play area measures approximately 50" at the official 10' rim height and about 42" at 7½'. When lowered for transport and storage, the overall height is 76", allowing passage through most storage room double doors or garage doors.

Backboard options include 36" x 60" clear glass, 36" x 60" smoked glass, or 36" x 60" clear unbreakable polycarbonate. A rear enclosed ballast compartment holds twenty 4" x 8" x 16" solid cap blocks (customer supplied or available as ballast kit BA893BLST).
